Experience the Delight of Flowering Teas!

Flowering teas, or blooming teas, are selected, fine, even tea buds (mostly white or green tea buds) hand-sewn together into a tight ball around one or several flowers, such as jasmine, rose, and/or chrysanthemum. Typically, you steep these teas in a glass teapot to fully enjoy how they develop and open up. It's both an experience for your palate and for your eyes.
Fortune Tea Balls by Limited Leaves!
These are produced by skilled artisans in the Fujian Province of China. Layers of the finest green tea buds are bound around a jasmine and a rose bud. The fortune balls are organically certified, and each bag contains 210 g of tea (30 fortune balls at 7 g each) per bag 953 kr SEK, VAT excl.). Each Fortune Ball can be steeped at least three times, so typically you serve a teapot to a table of 2-4 guests during a meal (as a non-alcoholic offer) or during Elevenses or Afternoon Tea.

Flavour profile and steeping tips!
The flavor is fresh and fruity, ending in a flowery note. The tea goes well with both fruity baked goods and savory dishes. Steep it like this, if you can, in front of your guests, much like when you open a fine bottle of wine, so you can explain about the tea.
-Heat your teaware and the cups (preferably glassware), and place them by the guests.
-Bring hot water (90-95°C) and a pitcher to discard the rinsing water.
-Rinse the tea once in the hot water (place the tea ball in the pot, pour hot water to cover it, wait 2-3 seconds, then pour out the water into the pitcher).
-Pour water over the tea for steeping, set a timer for 3.5-4 minutes, leave the table, and come back before the timer goes off.
-Serve the tea in each cup, keep adding more water, and serve tea throughout the meal.
Serve these organic Fortune Balls with inspiration from the Fujian province of China, to celebrate a special occasion or to bring fortune, as the name indicates. Perfect as a beautiful and healthy non-alcohol alternative to accompany a whole meal!
