Preparing organic, high-quality matcha!
Brought to you by the Tea Monster @tea.master.s!

Matcha is a traditional superfood. The high L-theanine content combined with caffeine both energizes and relaxes you, much like the effect you get from yoga or meditation!

With matcha, you consume the entire leaf with all its nutrients, and therefore both the fat-soluble vitamins and other active ingredients are there for your body and mind to absorb.
In a 100 ml cup (made with 2 g of high-quality, organic matcha) you get the following:
130 mg polyphenols, 64 mg caffeine, 24-44 mg L-theanine, 8.4 mg calcium, 54 mg potassium, and also Vitamin A, B1, B2, B3, Vitamin C, and folic acid!
The matcha I am proud to provide, through Shimodozono in Japan, is of the highest quality and organically cultivated (since 1992). This is very important to pay attention to when you consume matcha, so that you avoid undesirable substances.

Shimodozono's matcha is grown on the southernmost peninsula in Japan, called Kagoshima. Here, the matcha is grown in a subtropical climate with volcanic soil.
Shimodozono's matcha is genuine, meaning:
Fully shaded tea plants, with only 10% of the sunlight passing through the nets that cover the plants, causing them to produce lots of chlorophyll, L-theanine, and caffeine, and less bitter substances.
Made from 100% tencha, meaning tea leaves that, after steaming and drying, the leaf tissue is separated from the leaf veins, so that only the very delicate flake-like parts of the tea leaves are used for matcha.
Grinding the matcha entirely in granite stone mills. This is a very slow grinding process that guarantees the high aromatic quality level and refined mouthfeel of the matcha.
The matcha I provide is a premium grade. It's a slightly nutty matcha, with an intense aroma, balanced between sweet and tart with a bright green color. It's packed in 50 g aroma-preserving silver bags with a zip lock. Make sure you press out the air before you close the bag. Store your matcha in a cool, dry place, but not in the fridge. After opening, use your matcha within 6 weeks. Contact me for an offer!
