Featuring Mariusz Sieradzki, Mixologist & Tea Tender!

What happens when a professional mixologist approaches sparkling tea with the same care as a fine wine?

Mariusz Sieradzki, Mixologist & Tea Tender, recently evaluated ALTHAUS Sparkling Tea, a new sparkling alcohol-free white wine infused with Tie Guan Yin Oolong and Jasmine Green Tea.

Having tasted several premium sparkling teas, including those from leading well-known brands, Mariusz's conclusion was clear: Althaus Sparkling Tea offered the most attractive overall flavor profile, combining excellent aromatic purity with remarkable balance.
Mariusz rated the Sparkling Tea Wine from Althaus very good, highlighting its fresh floral character and exceptional drinkability. While he noted that the body is relatively light and the finish somewhat short, he considered it the most enjoyable sparkling tea in its category. Read his full evaluation here!

Inspired by these elegant flavors, Mariusz created a refreshing summer mocktail called Elderflower Garden. Please find the recipe below!
Elderflower Garden
Ingredients
100 ml ALTHAUS Sparkling Tea
20 ml elderflower cordial (a sweet, concentrated syrup made of elderflowers)
20 ml fresh cucumber juice
20 ml Verjus Blanc (juice of unripe, green grapes)
Ice
Method: Build all ingredients over ice in a chilled white wine glass and stir gently to combine.
Garnish
A ribbon of fresh cucumber
A sprig of fresh mint
The ingredients are more than simply delicious; they also reflect the season beautifully.
Cucumber has long been appreciated during summer due to its exceptionally high water content, offering a naturally refreshing sensation on warm days. In many traditional food cultures, cooling foods and drinks like cucumber and green tea are enjoyed to help the body feel lighter and cooler during periods of heat.

Elderflowers, with their delicate floral aroma, capture the essence of summer. Their fragrant sweetness brings elegance without heaviness, pairing effortlessly with the green jasmine tea notes while adding a gentle garden freshness that feels both nostalgic and sophisticated.
Together, the sparkling tea, cucumber, and elderflower create a drink that is light, vibrant, and wonderfully refreshing, and all this is completely alcohol-free!
