Where is the land of snow?

Himachal Pradesh means the land of snow, him = snow, achal = land. Pradesh means province. It is the northernmost tea region in India. This state is increasingly recognized for its high-quality teas.

Tea is mostly grown in the Kangra ("the valley of gods") and Mandi districts, with the city of Palampur as the main centre.
