The many asanas are all opportunities for us to dive deep into our bodies, with the help and guidance of our breath. By doing so, we can release tensions in each layer of our existence and cleanse our nervous system. Why is this important?

Because stuck energy in the body is painful and if the tension is not released, it creates dis-ease over longer time. By using our breath and moving our body in sync with our calm, slow in-and-out breath through the nose, as we do when we practice yoga, we move the internal energy, and our body, mind, and deeper layers can relax and heal.

The word "health" itself comes from "wholeness." Our clever bodies have a natural ability to heal. When we come into stillness of mind, the internal communication between all layers of our body can start to function in its natural way. This process has evolved over hundreds of millions of years. When the internal communication, via energy and information, is broken, healing of body and mind cannot occur.

So, to find space and take time to stop doing and focus on being is very important in our fast-paced world. Tea and yoga are two ways I'm passionate about for cultivating stillness, healing, and ability to rest in the present moment.

Come enjoy a day of yoga and a wonderful afternoon tea at Slottsholmen in Västervik on Women's Day, March 8th, 2025. Welcome to make your reservation soon since spots are limited. Here is the link where you sign up. Looking forward to see you there!
